Air conditioning: effectiveness and quality

Two types of energy systems belong to the refrigeration technology: heat using absorption chillers and heat pumps. Some devices from the low-temperature part of the energy sector also belong to this group. They are power plants with direct thermodynamic cycle for low-boiling working substances. Absorption chillers belong to the class of warm using equipment. In terms of feasibility and performance there are two types of absorption chillers - lithium bromide absorption for production of chilled water and water-ammonia for negative temperatures down to -55°C. Application of both types has a different character.
